Paris Show: 2011 VW Passat Sedan and Estate B7 or more like B6.75... [Updated]

[Fresh pics added] What can we expect from the crisp, facelifted B6 Passat? Well, for one thing, it's actually labeled a seventh-generation model even though it's clearly B6-derived. In its defense, VW says "every body panel apart from the roof is new".

Said new panels extend the car by 4 millimeters (4,769 mm for sedan, 4,771 mm Estate), while the width and height remain the same at 1,820 mm and 1,474 mm, respectively.

Up front, the nose gets a more attractive grille / headlight treatment and is more in-line with VW's current styling. On the outer edges of the new, chromey grille reside LED running lights. At the rear, the tail lights get chrome accents and blend nicely with the sharper lines of VW's family saloon.

New York- A Place I'd Love to Visit

If time will come for me to fly and visit  New York City I would like to go in Brooklyn where my husband's first home, I'll also go to Williamsburg (Brooklyn) just to look for a vintage store. There are stores I know that has great displays of anything vintage from clothing to shoes, bags, accessories, and to name a few. You know how much I love vintage it doesn't matter if its new or secondhand- the latter is the most.

I have seen and heard from TV, websites, and words-of-mouth from people I know who have been there that New York has so many things to do like entertainment and amusements, history and culture, outdoor sports and nature. Not to mention they have various shopping malls from haute couture to vintage that every women love. Restaurants are one of New York's best to offer for us. There are hundreds of restaurants I could choose to dine, and I would love to go to Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay's Restaurant). I admire his cooking. You have no idea.

Coffee Shops are somehow I would consider to try in New York since I love pastries I'm sure every coffee shops selling that too.  Oh, I can't wait that moment to be happen. Hoping for real! :)

Paris Show: Maserati's 300+ km/h GranTurismo MC Stradale

As we told you in our previous post, the GranTurismo MC Stradale is a racier, sportier version of Maser's big coupe (think the GT3, but from Maserati). According to the Italian sports / luxury carmaker, the MC Stradale didn't budge an inch when it came to comprises in return for performance; it handles better without losing ride quality (that has yet to be tested), it's more powerful without sacrificing fuel economy, and it plants itself harder without adding any drag.

Focus’s design is purely European, the car being developed at a design center in Germany that the Michigan brand owns. The dimensions remained the same both for the sedan and the hatchback, the dimensions of the chassis and the suspension’s hardware being also borrowed from the old generation, with the necessary improvements.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept leaked?

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept

Lamborghini did its best to keep its Paris debut a big secret, but we all know it’s more likely that aliens land at the White House than car makers managing to keep details about a car secret. After releasing a set of teaser photos with a new concept which is scheduled to debut in a couple of days, at the Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini couldn’t keep the secret anymore, because a low-resolution image of the car showed up on French blog blogautomobile.fr.

According to the image, the concept will be called Sesto Elemento, which is Italian for “sixth element”. If we look into the periodic table, that’s carbon, so you might get a clue what this car about. And that is weight. Stephen Winkelmann, Lambo’s CEO, said that, since mid ’80s, due to additive regulations, the average weight of Lamborghini cars grew by 1,100 pounds (500 kg). And considering they can’t sacrifice safety and performance, the only way to make better cars is to lose weight.

Winkelmann also mentioned that all the changes Lamborghini will make to future cars will be about improving handling and acceleration, because the company sees no point in focusing on top speed anymore. And that’s true, because most supercars’ performances are so high regular people can’t reach them on a racetrack, let alone normal roads.

As for the Sesto Elemento (or Sixth Element), there are no details available, except that it might weight around 2,200 lbs (1000 kg) and, judging by this photo, will probably be powered by a V10 engine. But we’ll find out soon, because there so little time left until Lamborghini will release full details about the concept (considering the leaked photo, it might be even sooner).
