You can’t google in Google village. The irony is that the tiny village named 'Google', about 510 km north-east of Bangalore, doesn’t have even the internet connectivity.
This village of 1,000 residents on the banks of the Krishna in Karnataka’s Raichur district is far removed from the search engine company based in Mountain View, California.
Most inhabitants haven’t heard of their famous namesake in cyberspace. The few who have are proud of their village’s claim to fame. They thought that a website is named after their village.
