Earlier this week we told you that Toyota will debut a new small car concept along with special versions of the Yaris and the RAV4 at the Frankfurt Show. Whereas we’re still in the dark for the concept, we did manage to dig out info and a picture of the RAV4 Cross Sport. From what we gathered from the German press release, the Cross Sport is based on the Sol, adding several elements to the standard equipment.
Among other things the Cross Sports gets newly styled 17-inch alloys, protective plates under the bumpers, LED tail-lamps, an audio and a DVD navigation system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen, parking assistance and anthracite colored seats. The RAV4 Cross Sport will be available in Europe from mid-September with two engine options, an 152 Hp 2,0-Liter-VVT-i petrol unit an 136 HP strong 2,2-liter D-4D diesel unit.
