Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence

Since I am a conditional resident which I obtained through marriage from an American Citizen, the USCIS obliged me to remove the conditions of my residency status 2 months prior the expiration. I just applied the petition to remove the conditions of residence last week. I haven't receive any NOA or notice of action yet, hoping my papers are have no problem. I'm crossing my little fingers right now. :)

In case if you wanna know the requirements of my Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence (though case to case basis, for fully understanding visit the USCIS website) here are the following documents I submitted.

1. One copy of filled out Form I-751
2. A photo copies of both front and back sides of my Permanent Resident Card
3. Financial records joint ownership of assets and joint responsibilities of liabilities with my husband.
4. Affidavits sworn to or affirm by two people who have known both of me and my husband since my conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of our marriage and relationship.
5. A check of $465 for filling fee plus $80 for biometric fee

That's all. Since I lived in Florida state, I file and mail my petition to the Vermont Service Center. The USCIS have been changed their policies a year ago from filling fees, service centers, etc.. that's why you should check out the USCIS website to know any updates and for more informations.

Good luck!
