
Heavy rains on lashed Mumbai inundating low lying areas and ruined normal life as Mithi river overflowed.
A red alert has been issued after the river touched 2.8 metre, which is 0.1m above the danger mark. Residents along the river coast in Kurla were shifted to nearby schools.
