Jyoti Basu is dead. If destiny had been on his side, Jyoti Basu would have become India's prime minister in 1996. Jyoti Basu holds the record for maximum years as CM. No one documented the violence that took place today in his regime.
Joti Bose ( in bengal )had suffered multi-organ failure and was on a temporary pacemaker since Saturday night, passed in Kolkata on Sunday morning.
Rest in Peace. Ironically, pragmatic and more flexible than many current comrades. Man who could have been PM.
