This was actually my long overdue post.

When my MIL learned about the appearing of Dwight Gooden in person for signing books or merchandises in the mall last month we were all excited to see him. In the baseball world he's a huge star since 80s till early 2000. He had a tremendous baseball career one of the greatest pitcher those time. Injuries and drugs (don't know if he uses hgh supplements) problems made him retired early. Haven't saw him playing on the mound at the time when his still active in baseball since I was in the other side of the world then but heard so many good things about his performance from my solid-avid baseball fanatic husband and MIL, and from the mouth of the Yankee sport anchors when watching the latest games now- in other words I've known Dwight Gooden by his reputations.
To make the story short, MIL and I saw him in real person. We almost couldn't catch him there since we're late (after dropping grandma in the airport we then drove straight in the said mall) but alas our faith set us to met him. MIL was so happy neither did I. I was starstruck.
Poster of the said event from outside the store in the mall. He was young then here in the photos.
My MIL with her idol. He is such a gigantic.
