Checklist for College

Going to college is was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Leaving home taught me how to be independent as I made the first step in the journey of my life. My parents were happy and concerned at the same time. I knew that the things that I needed would cost my parents a few dollars so I got a part time job to help pay for some of the things that I needed and required. We started my college shopping many months before I was due to leave. There are so many things that I needed it was like starting all over. I never even thought I would need things like bedding, an alarm clock, trash can and a lamp for the side of my bed. Having a part time job at Walmart really helped because on top of the low prices there I also received an employee discount. A lot of the smaller things like notebooks, pens and pencils I just kept picked up whenever I thought about. I also needed personal things like underwear, pajamas and toiletries. This is just some of the things I needed on my journey to college.
