The bottom line is that anyone call get into a situation and come up with a poor credit report. It is nothing to be ashamed of- it happens to all walks of life. Unfortunately bad credit leads to rejected loan and credit card applications. It also has an influence for your housing rent and employment opportunities. Even some insurance companies may raise the rates.
The good news is that there are ways of credit repair. Although I personally do not need to fix my credit, I have read that you can apply for credit repair if you had a temporary situation where there were uncontrollable circumstances (like hospitalization or unemployment).
