Reinventing myself at 59 wasn't ever what I expected to do but I've got to say, it may be one of the best things that's ever happened to me. Rewind, here's the story: For a lifetime I had been a teacher and had worked with children. I helped improve my school's state testing scores for the fifth grade level, and I feel I really left my mark on a lot of children.
But after a while, I started craving something new. The teaching jobs were drying up in my area, and I felt like it was just time to move on. So I did all the way to New York City, where I decided to break into the world of creative advertising. I think the reason it was such a good fit (and an easy transition) was because they are both pretty creative, you know? Teaching children to read requires a good deal of thinking outside the box, which has served me well here. Since my change, I've actually been revamping a lot about my life, goo. I got contacts and recently purchased a pair of hearing aids from MiracleEarHearingAids.net. Sometimes you just got to roll with the punches!
