We are into the final three days before Southeast Asia’s largest technology conference, Echelon 2011.
The event will boast a strong lineup of over 40 speakers from seven countries, over 50 exhibiting companies, 11 new companies on our Launchpad and up to 1,000 delegates.
That’s a lot of action for two days. You’re going to need something to help you relax after all that shmoozing and presentation-listening. Which is why we’re putting on an afterparty.
We’re doing it at Home Club, probably the best incubator of Singapore’s underground music scene, located on the Singapore River. Jean Reiki will be playing some fresh nu jazz cuts in the early hours and maybe — if’we’re lucky — some of her trademark breakbeats later in the night. All Echelon 2011 speakers, guests and friends of e27 will be attending.
But, there’s a small catch. The afterparty’s going to have a buffet line and an open bar with a free flow of drinks, so we have to limit the number of people who can attend. That means we have to imposer a cover charge.
It’s still a sweet deal, though. For SGD20, you get:
Three hours of open bar with free flow of drinks (both with alcohol and without!). You’ll be spending SGD20 for two drinks at most bars in Singapore on a Friday night.
Buffet line with some easy-to-handle food, so you won’t be distracted from the drinking and networking
Get bussed to Home Club for free, direct from the conference! Personally, we think this alone is worth the price of admission. Have you ever tried getting a cab on a Friday night?!
Hang out with all our speakers, invited guests and startuppy folk from across Asia
Listen to the best cuts from Jean Reiki, one of Singapore’s finest DJs
Stay on to check out BEAT! which is Home Club’s regular indie music Friday night, for free
