Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind imposed a ban on muslims not to sing Vande Mataram . They have issued a fatwa accusing the song has lyrics which is against Islam. Muslim Law Board justified the decision on Vande Mataram, saying Muslims couldn't offer prayers to anyone but Allah.
It is an old controversy; in 1937, the INC discussed that the last two stanzas invoked Goddess Durga and it was decided to keep the two paragraphs out of the song.
Due to reservations expressed by Muslims over Vande Mataram, the status of national anthem was given to Jana Gana Mana.
So, Indian Muslims are not allowed to sing Vande Mataram now on.
