The Alfa Romeo Diva Concept was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. The Alfa Romeo Diva Concept was developed in a joint effort beween Fiat Auto’s R&D arm Elasis, the Alfa Romeo style center and the Espera design school. It was built to celebrate the Espera design school’s 10th anniversary.
The Alfa Romeo Diva Concept was built on an Alfa Romeo 159 chassis, and this was heavily modified by Elasis R&D to accept an Alfa 147 GTA engine mounted in mid-ship position. The Alfa 147 engine is an inline-6 3.2 liter 24-valve DOHC engine, which makes 290hp, which is more than enough for a car that only weighs 1100kg. This engine is mated to an Alfa Romeo Selespeed gearbox, which featuers six forward speeds and a paddle shift feature mounted on the steering column.
