LUXGEN7 SUV is also the only one in its segment to feature the intelligent power actuated tailgate as standard equipment. Another exclusive feature in the car is the anti-theft sport seat. The Luxgen7 SUV powered by a newly developed 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 175HP at 6,000rpm and 28kgm of torque spanning from 2,500 to 4,000rpm. The petrol unit is coupled to an also new 5-speed automatic transmission equipped with manual shifting function and what Luxgen describes as “intelligent Transmission Control Module with 10 built-in operation modes.” The automatic transmission was developed by Japan’s Aisin.

The Luxgen7 SUV interior design uses the premium leather seat with airline first class style surrounding head restraints together with the available heating, ventilation, electronic and lumbar support adjustment functions to ensure utmost comfort anytime. In addition, the Hi-end Clarion audio system and JBL speakers provide premium sound quality and surreal vocal reproduction to music lovers.

In the interior, the luxury Luxgen7 SUV features Hi-end Clarion audio system with JBL speakers, GPS navigation, four advanced visual assistance systems including Eagle View and many more. In the security system, however, there is SRS airbags, ABS Antilock Braking System, BAS Braking assistance System and EBD Electronic Brake Distribution. The potential buyers have to shell out somewhere between US$25,831 to 35,386 to own a Luxgen7 SUV.

For some reasons I don't know about last Friday early morning when I step out from the door to walk my dog outside was smell so badly like sulfur, fertilizer, or a bad canal. It happened again yesterday morning. Until now I don't know what the cause is. We don't have farm here, we only have swamp. Maybe that what it is something from the swamp. I don't know. Well, the fact is the smell is terrible that cause our nose and throat or even lungs a bad feeling. Mostly people couldn't breath well cause they refused to smell it. I had a bad headache yesterday. I don't really like such bad smell. I in fact hates smoke of cigarettes but with the smell like this one makes me sick. How much more those people who have malignant Mesothelioma disease because of what they inhaled from hazardous asbestos. That is scary. Well, I know for sure I am far from that situation but still I have a problem with bad smell surroundings.

Marussia SUV proposal

I recently participated in the competition organized by the Marussia brand (http://marussiaclub.ru/). The brief was to design an SUV based on the Audi Q7 dimentions (http://marussiaclub.blogspot.com/ - that's only in Russian, unfortunately).

I actually decided to enter the competition at the last moment,- the deadline was postponed so I thought that I probably need to propose something too. So here I have 4 views of the SUV. The car had to look pretty sporty for Marussia is a sportscar manufacturer. So that's why my basic idea was to make the car look muscular but still elegant with the features of a sportscar. The intakes in the front are heavily influenced by that type of vehicles; some accent was put on the wheelarches that are sticking out a bit giving the impression of confidence and some kind of aggression.

It didn't work out at the end of the day,- my project didn't make it in the top-3.
