In the same way the hopes and dreams, at least for now. The FR-S, which stands for front-engine rear-wheel-drive sport, Re-Imagining the Toyota FT-86 broad concept, first shown in Tokyo in 2009, inspired by the Corolla AE86, Toyota tuner-friendly models the mid-1980s.

"I had seen too much fun in the forum and read comments on this car, " said Jack Hollis, Scion vice president. "I was really with the amount of passion, the fans for the cars and the enthusiasm which had produced them impressed."

Actually, that website just says it all. This is a car designed to provoke the Internet chat, and fan-mag photo spread, and above all excitement around the brand that has in recent years to create drag. Like many concepts, it is a little fuzzy after that. Case in point, Scion vision for the owners of the ideal FR-S, which is "someone who knows exactly what he wants ... in which he wants to go ... and wants the car to take him there."

Well, then: Scion promising 2-liter boxer engine naturally aspirated 4-cylinder, low and back for better weight distribution, and either manual or automatic transmission with 6 speeds. The company also promises great gas mileage for FR-S, but then again, who would not?

Mr Hollis promised that the FR-"inspired" S series model next year. Sounds like the kind of all-wheel-transport-based machine, Mr Perfect Driver (see above) might look like.

In contrast to a Scion. It was as if someone is the lathe and cut away all of the brand trademark characteristics elbow. What remains is the flip side of the box-shaped, with a low, smooth lines that flow around the fat 20-inch wheels - looks like the first offspring who are willing to walk the red line.

Scion Hacked Coupe Concept: Follow the Orange-Brick Road (cars 2008)

...back to the drawing board. If there’s one car at this year’s New York Auto Show that won all of our negative votes for its appearance, that’s definitely the Scion Hako Concept. Part hot-rod, part box, the Hako shares more similarities with an orange brick on wheels than it does to a coupe. Having that in mind, we decided to photo-hack Scion’s concept by dressing its body with what else, but bricks! Let’s all pray that Scion’s design team doesn’t get any weird ideas from us… -One more pic after the jump Pictures: Carscoop

2011 The Scion xB is also quite powerful

This year's installment of the Chicago Auto Show has seen the launch of great vehicles for the 2008 model year. One of such vehicles introduced to the public at the said event is the all-new 2008 xB from Toyota's marque, Scion.

If that's not enough to satisfy your inner audiophile, the optional Alpine Premium stereo adds a different faceplate with a touchscreen interface and a knob that combine to mimic an iPod's controls. A series of buttons makes switching among the seven different audio sources easy. Also included with the Alpine system is HD radio, a "media expander" that improves the sound quality of digital music files and additional RCA outputs for further expandability. A navigation system and a back-up camera can also be added to the upgraded stereo.

While the xB is naturally a big draw with practicality-minded buyers, Scion hasn't lost sight of its original mission to be a hip, funky brand for hip, funky youngsters. For 2010, that means improving the standard and optional stereo systems. The factory-installed Pioneer stereo gets a new faceplate that provides a large display screen and a multipurpose control knob designed for use with the standard iPod interface. A new RCA output allows owners to plug in an aftermarket subwoofer

THE Scion-TC RACING

In general this type of car was purposely made for the Generation Y's market or also known as the Millennial market. This car was made to have an easy and regular modification feature which will allow the driver to have more options on adding any desired car accessory and the like. This car has similar framework with Toyota's Avensis and it also uses a car suspension which is commonly used in modern vehicles. The price of this car may be low but the cost of a used Scion tC may be cheaper.

In 2004 the Scion tC (touring coupe) was developed by one of the leading Japanese car company named Toyota. The Scion tC was just a show vehicle then but was introduced in the same year as the Toyota's new car model for 2005. The company started selling these cars by June 2004. Actually the Scion tC was the replacement for the car model called Celica (which means celestial) the manufacturing period for this model started in 1986 and ended in 2005.

2011 Scion tC Coupe Tuning Galore: Five Projects Heading to SEMA Show

Highlighting Scion's presence at next week's SEMA Show will be five customized examples of the Japanese firm's all-new 2011 tC Coupe. When it leaves the factory, the tC is motivated by a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine pushing out 185-horsepower.

As you'd expect, most tuners chose the turbocharging route to increase the tC's performance under the hood, with GReddy being the only company to announce output figures (340hp and 325 lb-ft of peak torque). Scroll down for photos and full details (in the spec sheets) for all five tCs.

Scion has Humor: All-Stretched out Cartel xB Limo

With the annual SEMA Show near the world's most famous Strip almost upon us (November 2 to 5), automakers and tuners alike are rushing in to give us an early preview of their custom proposals. The most recent case-in-point: the "All Stretched Out Cartel xB".

The name says it all, but just to clarify, Cartel [King] is the nickname of one of the tuners involved in the creation of the VIP themed, super-long Scion xB, Jeremy Lookofsky. Though, we could see this customized xB being a hit with certain other cartels... Gallery after the jump.

Detail Interior and Audio 2011-Scion-xB

The so-called urban utility vehicle was first introduced to the public in 2011 and from then on, it has received quite a warm welcome from car buyers. The Scion xB is characterized by its boxy design and this has already become a distinction for Scion cars. It would seem that Scion car buyers loved the boxy design of the xB because the latest model of the vehicle is made even bigger and still has a boxy design. The latest installment of the Scion xB is the result of the feedbacks of xB owners that they wanted a bigger car.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FoXyvaPSnVk/S6KRLCNX4YI/AAAAAAACpqU/0BonSFJqRGE/s1600/2011-Scion-xB-37.jpg

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FoXyvaPSnVk/S6KRHAye7XI/AAAAAAACpo0/LvrN8QimkfA/s1600/2011-Scion-xB-25.jpg

Beyond these changes to the sound system, the xB remains a practical way to be offbeat. The xB's boxy shape and surprisingly sizable proportions provide a maximum of 70 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seatbacks folded, which is only 3 cubes less than the capacity of Toyota's RAV4. Raise those seats and there's enough room in back for a pair of full-size adults. The xB is also quite powerful thanks to a punchy 158-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. It's not the most fuel-efficient engine around, though, which is a definite drawback to the xB. Other demerits include distracting center-mounted gauges and a non-telescoping wheel that will likely infuriate taller drivers.

2011 Scion xD RS 3.0: New Limited Edition Priced from $17,765

Toyota's Scion division has revealed its first [of many more to come] limited edition vehicle for the 2011 model year, the xD Release Series 3.0, which will begin arriving in showrooms later this month.

Offered in a new brownish color named xPRESSO, which is not currently available on any other Scion model, the new xD RS 3.0 features a four-piece body kit with front and rear lower lips along with side skirts, plus carbon-fiber trimmed B-pillar appliqués with the RS logo. And well, that's about it.

Scion said it will only build 1,500 units of the xD RS 3.0, with each car featuring a unique, individually numbered stainless-steel badge.

Pricing for the special edition of the xD hatch is set at $16,905 when combined with a manual gearbox, and $17,705 when the engine is hooked up to an automatic transmission. Bear in mind that neither figure includes the mandatory $720 delivery, processing and handling fee.

Scion tC Release Series 1.0, 2005

The Scion tC is a sports compact automobile introduced by Toyota in 2004 as a concept vehicle under its recently introduced Scion brand name. The Scion tC was designed to appeal to the Generation Y market and get them locked into the Toyota brand before any other car manufacturer could have a chance. They hoped to do so by making standard features numerous and optional features extremely easy to add.

The Scion tC uses the chassis of the Avensis which is sold in the European market, and the Camry's 2.4 L 2AZ-FE I4 engine. Its low price (base MSRP of US$16,715 for the 2006 model) is a major feature, as well as the pure pricing marketing style that Toyota has adopted.

The name tC does not fit in with its stablemates the xA and xB because the name xC has already been taken by Volvo for its XC70 and XC90 models. According to Scion, tC stands for "Touring Coupe."

Scion t2B Concept, 2005

The t2B is a concept car from Scion, designed by Calty Design (Toyota's design studio in California) and built by Five Axis Models in Huntington Beach, California. It debuted at the 2005 New York Auto Show. Its name stands for Tall 2 Box. It appears rather like a mini-van, with 2 rows of bench seats, although the exterior is similar to the xB. On the passenger side there is 1 automatic sliding door. The driver side has doors that open 180 degrees, the rear door being a suicide door. The idea of the t2B is to be a social and entertainment enigma to the occupants.
