Hear the NUS Mixed Reality Lab on the future of play at U@live today

National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Associate Professor Adrian Cheok talks about how today’s 24/7 real time global communication has changed humanity, how it impacts learning and what trends can we expect to see in the near future.

U@live (pronounced “U-alive) is a new NUS initiative that showcases the many outstanding members of the NUS community – students, faculty and alumni – who have been indefatigable in championing causes that will make this a better world.

Inviting top professionals and leaders from all walks of society, the event starts with a ten minute talk that’s followed by a Q&A session that invites attendees and online viewers to interact with the speaker. This event is broadcast live via the web and mobile phone and online audiences are encouraged to take part through a moderated discussion forum.

The first speaker at U@live was Ms Noeleen Heyzer the Under-Secretary General of the United Nations and a Nobel Prize nominee.
