Pitches open for Feb Founders Drinks Singapore

Founders Drinks is back for February after a great turnout last month in Singapore and Jakarta. We are tweaking the event format after feedback from our first session. Here’s the deal:

Send in your idea, product or service pitch using the #FoundersDrinks hashtag. Follow us on Twitter too at @e27sg.

We will put all the ideas received by 12 noon on Mon, 21 Feb up to a public vote here. So the earlier you submit your idea, the more time you have to get votes.

We will pick the two most popular ideas (bumped it up from one) for live pitches.

During Founders Drinks, each pitch will get five minutes, with a 10 minute feedback session.

A bunch of free drinks and networking after the pitches.

Our February edition is going to be held at a super cool and brand-new venue. It’s called The Pigeonhole (@the_pigeonhole), and it’s a cafe and arts space in one of the most interesting neighborhoods in town. The Pigeonhole’s soft opening actually happens a couple of days after Founders Drinks, so we are pleased to be the first event in the space.

The details:

Founders Drinks Singapore – Feb edition

When: Wed, 23 Feb, 7pm-9pm

Where: The Pigeonhole, 52 & 53 Duxton Road, Singapore.

RSVP here

Since it’s a new venue, here’s some more information about The Pigeonhole:

The Pigeonhole is a book cafe & dynamic arts space promoting local non-governmental organizations (“NGOs“), music, film, fine arts and performing arts. The Pigeonhole boasts a diverse variety of old, second-hand and rare books on topics ranging from religion to popular culture to botany to politics. Apart from an eclectic array of exciting arts programmes devoted to local independent art and music, the Pigeonhole also serves aromatic espresso, tasty gourmet sandwiches and salads and a globe-trotting range of whiskies, wines, ciders and lagers. The Pigeonhole is proud and honoured to support the good work of local homegrown NGOs and non-profit organizations.
