The honda city 2010 a new Honda City

How am I feeling? I wanted to be uber excited and to jump with all joy.. But I am not… Maybe the feeling of sadness overpowered… The return of “Lemon”, my service car for almost 7 months. And the thought that this new car would entail loong years before I get to go… I wouldn’t want to get attached to it

Drive home your dream car. Once your loan is approved, we will meet in the premises of the bank that approved your loan for you to sign the documents in the presence of a bank officer. We then proceed to the dealer where we ordered your unit and for you to pay the down payment directly to the cashier of the dealer. After two to three hours wait, you can now happily drive home your new car.

Thailand! 2009 Honda City

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has started selling the all-new Honda City in Thailand today, honda civic hybrid, hybrid cars price. It will be sold in Thailand for between 524,000 to 694,000 Thai baht. We don’t have much details on the wheelbase and some other details yet.

The new Honda City is powered by solely by a 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine mated to either a 5-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual It is 4,395mm long, 1,695mm wide and 1,470mm tall, so it is slightly longer (+5mm), new car purchase, slightly wider (+5mm) but not as tall (-25mm) as the previous model. Making it wider and not as high reduces the whole hatchback with a boot tagged on look that the City it replaces had.

It’s quite an attractive new car purchase and the lines flow alot smoother than the model it replaces. I hope that for those who don’t fancy the grille at the front all that much (as expressed in some previous posts), there will be a replacement Modulo grille that they can opt for. This was an option that Accord owners who preferred not having an “empty” grille - they could opt for a Modulo grille that had a little bar running through it.

UPDATE: More photos including high resolution photos of the new Honda City have been added after the jump. The new City is sold in Thailand in three variants: S, V and SV. The S and V variants come with a beige interior while the top of the line SV model comes with a dark interior and all 3 variants also come with different alloy wheel designs.

Six colours are available - Habanero Red Pearl, Deep Lapis Blue Metallic, Alabaster Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic and Bold Beige Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl. Sadly white is not available but maybe it will be in Malaysia if Honda Malaysia deems it as a potentially popular colour, which I think it would.

More details to be updated soon, for the moment please have a look at a collection of photos of the new City after the jump to new car purchase.

Honda City 2009

A new set of photos of the new 2009 Honda City have been released, this time a left hand drive version as a preview to the car’s official European unveiling at the Istanbul Motor Show this October 2008.

The European market Honda City will be fitted with a 100 PS 1.4 liter i-VTEC engine mated to a 5-speed transmission, and apparently the new City - like its European Jazz and Civic hatch siblings - will feature a 6-speed i-SHIFT automated manual transmission with steering-mounted paddle shifts will serve those who do not want to bother with a manual clutch on a daily basis.

The 5-speed manual transmission has been improved over the previous version, now featuring a carbon synchromesh for smoother gear changes as well a new set of gear ratios optimised for the new engine credit report.

Other than the left hand drive interior, something new shown with this new set of photos is the fact that the car features an automatic climate control system with digital display instead of the three-knob manual air conditioning controls that were shown in the previous set of photos. The exterior also looks a little different, with some extra side strips somehow giving the car a more stout look. Frankly I prefer the Asian version’s exterior credit report.

All new Honda City

Spotted in India. The all new Honda City has been spotted by a member of the Team-Bhp forum. Looks very different from the current city, but seems the pricing is going to be high as well. Civic S has been discontinued, and suggest that Honda wants to make some space for the new city, which looks bigger and better than before!.

Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. (HSCI) â€" a joint venture between the Honda Motor Company Ltd., Japan and Siel Ltd., a Siddharth Shriram Group company is weighing the option of locally manufacturing the CR-V. The Honda CR-V is currently directly imported from Japan as a completely built unit and sold in the Indian market.According to Masahiro Takedagawa, president and CEO of HSCI, “We are studying the possibilities of producing the CR-V locally, which will help up become a far more active player in the growing SUV market.”At present, the Japanese auto maker is retailing an average of about 300 units of the CR-V every month. And, the vehicle has a landed price of around Rs 20 lakh, of which nearly half is accounted to import duty component.By the time Honda decided to manufacturer the CR-V in India, the target price for the vehicle will swoop down to Rs 12-14 lakh. That would mean better attraction from the customers.By fact, the CR-V is the leading player in the top-end SUV segment which include the Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Pajero, Suzuki Vitara and a host of other models. Most of the models are actually imported directly â€" an advantage that Honda is weighing.Another point would be the translation into more numbers in local production.

New Honda City in Thailand

The New Honda City is all set for an Indian debut around September 2008.The year 2008-09 seems to be a year of transformation for the Honda Siel Cars India Ltd as most of the models are being given a new lease of life. There was the all new CR-V which was launched sometime back and they followed it up with the new Accord. Civic is gearing up for a face lift & The Jazz will fill up its small car segment. The current Honda city which is the most popular car in Honda’s stable, would give way for the New Honda City . This latest & next generation model would make its international debut in august 2008 in Thailand.

New Honda City India
From the first look of the car it seems the design is more European like the Accord. The car looks more sturdier compared to the present model. Wide grills with a huge bumper stamps its presence on the road . The rear is something similar to the BMW 5 series but the tail lamps are more boxy. The V-tec model being launched would be of 120 BHP but its uncertain on the variants to be launched in India.
