Sourav Ganguly has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) for his unparalleled determination coupled with grit and talent
and as he accepted the accolade, the sportsman spoke of his dream to build greater ties with Lancashire .
"It is a huge honour. When I came to know about this a few months ago, I felt proud and Im happy to be here, the 37-year-old Ganguly said. I have a long-term association with Lancashire. I made my One-Day International debut at Old Trafford 13 years ago and also had a stint with Lancashire County Cricket Club" Ganguly told to the Lancashire Evening Post.
