Kareena Kapoor was born in September 21, 1980 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. She is the second daughter of popular Bollywood stars Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. She is the granddaughter of Raj Kapoor, great-granddaughter of Prithviraj Kapoor and great-great-granddaughter of Dewan Bashewarnath Kapoor. Her great grandfather (Prithviraj Kapoor), her grandfather (Raj Kapoor) and his two brothers (Shammi & Shashi), her mother (Babita), her father (Randhir) and his two brothers (Rishi & Rajiv) have all been film stars over the last fifty years and her sister (Karisma) have been acting in Bollywood flicks keeping it all within the family. Karina Kapoor loves horseback rding and cooking. In 2004, she turned down a role in "Bride and Prejudice". In 2006 she was listed as number 6 of 'Top Bollywood Actress'. She befriended Konkona Sen Sharma on the sets of 2006 movie Omkara. Kareena Kapoor remains to be one of the top and highest paid actress.
