ASMA Attack: Mercedes CL65 AMG Based Phantasma CL Chrome

Just when you thought it was safe again to take a peak into the world of ASMA Design, the German tuning house goes and presents this burlesque creation, the Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG-based, Phantasma CL Chrome. We're not entirely sure if the car's name is derived from the Greek word Phantasma that translates to ghost, but there's no doubt in our mind that most will act like they've seen one after looking at this monstrous creation.

As if the vent-astic 'Darth Vader' grille, the various aerodynamic add-ons of the wide-bodykit and the humongous 22-inch wheels shod in 255/30 tires up front and 295/25 at the rear weren't scary enough, ASMA Design took the liberty to paint the car a shiny chrome finish.

Performance-wise, the Phantasma CL Chrome's AMG 6.0-liter turbocharged V12 engine has been upgraded to deliver an output of 725HP and a maximum torque of 1,180Nm or 870lbs/ft. This results to a zero to 100km/h or 62mph sprint time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 205mph or 330km/h.

And what a subtle facelift it is; as one would expect from ASMA’s haute-couture designers, the updated CLS Shark II brings a new meaning to the words “discreet” and “elegant”. Out goes the blunt, body-coloured grille in comes a prudent chrome grille shiny enough to cause an accident to opposing drivers when facing the sun. Mercedes S-Class Tuning: ASMA Design Eagle II Sport Edition

What; an ASMA without a Darth Vader grille? Oh come on, that’s so, so disappointing. I guess ASMA’s latest Mercedes S-Class bodykit is addressed towards a more subtlety-bad-tasted crowd. The new Project becomes through our amazing performance kit a never seen experience on the roads of Germany. This amazing model is crowned with the name “Eagle II“. The powerful wings of an eagle which are symbolized by the typical ASMA Design Air Intakes in the front fenders of the car, the perfect body kit with the typical ASMA Design elements and the bi-colour painting are creating this dominating presence.

Its body control is just stunning, its combination of comfort and structural integrity masterful. The ASMA Design wheels on the front axle in 9,5 x 21 inch and on the back axle in 11 x 21 are completing the excellent design of the car. The wheels are on the front axle vast 255/30/21 and on the back axle 295/25/21.

Darth Vader-Mobile: The Mercedes S-Class based, ASMA Eagle 1

If the dark lord of the Universe ever wanted a car I'd bet a gazillion bucks that this dazzling German "frauline" would captivate his dreams for ever. For Dark Vader, the Maybach Exelero (see any resemblance ?) wouldn't even comes close to the ASMA designed Eagle 1 in terms of sheer beauty.
