Kawasaki Concours has a couple of things in common with the Yamaha Vmax, it's been around essentially unchanged almost forever (introduced in 1986) and it has a very dedicated following of owners who absolutely love it. This year, though, Kawasaki finally decided to bring the bike into the 21st century and they are introducing the Concours 14.

The Concours has shaft drive, an electrically adjustable windshield plus different aerodynamics than the ZX14, designed to protect a rider and passenger from the wind as opposed to maximizing top speed. There are heated grips, an accessory power outlet and of course, detachable hard bags. But the really sweet part is the engine, which is the big ZX14 engine in a slightly different state of tune but certainly a helluva lot more engine than any other touring rig you'll run across.

If Kawasaki is true to form, what you see here is probably the Concours you'll see for many years to come and I can't argue with their reasoning, I don't see any reason they would want to change it again any time soon. I like this.

The Kawasaki Z750R motorcycle

For 2011 Kawasaki have welcomed a new model into the Z750 family, the range-topping Z750R.

The Kawasaki Z750R features the same 748cc 4-cylinder engine as the bike on which it is based. This engine produces 104 horsepower and 57 lb-ft (77Nm) of torque. However there are several new features which improve the bike's handling, looks and overall performance.

Firstly, the square section steel swingarm of the standard bike is replaced with a superior pressed aluminium unit on the Z750R. The new swingarm is lighter and contributes to the Z750R's higher-grade appearance. The sculpted design is based on that of the 2009 Z1000, featuring the same left side, but a newly designed right side to be able to better accommodate the 180 mm rear tire used by the Z750R.

At the rear of the Kawasaki Z750R, the Bottom-link Uni-Trak rear suspension features a nitrogen gas-charged shock with piggyback reservoir. The rear suspension settings have been designed to complement the suspension setup of the front forks. The forks of the Z750R are in fact the same as those of the Z1000. These 41mm units feature a smooth action in the top half of the stroke, while the second half features firmer damping to provide a solid, planted feel during cornering. The front forks of the Kawasaki Z750R are adjustable for rebound and preload.

To bring the Kawasaki Z750R to a halt, the bike is fitted with radially-mounted, opposed 4-piston front calipers, which clamp onto 300 mm petal-style discs. The new calipers are complimented by braided-steel brake lines - which offer a more direct feel to the rider.

Kawasaki has also given the 2011 Z750R a new instrument panel. The stylish black-colored analogue-style tachometer sits alongside an orange-colored LCD display with digital speedometer, odometer, trip meter, water temp, fuel gauge, clock, etc.

At launch the 2011 Kawasaki Z750R is available in two color options. The traditional black and green Kawasaki colors, or a sinister all black color scheme.

The Ninja ZX-10R is a Kawasaki sport bike, and the follow-up to the ZX-9R. It was originally released in 2004 with minor revisions in 2005. It combines an ultra-narrow chassis, low weight, and radial brakes. In 2004 and 2005 the ZX-10R won Best Superbike from Cycle World magazine and the prestigious international Masterbike competition.

In Britain, the Ninja ZX-10R comes wrapped in black or green, and equipped Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIRB) plus S-KTRC which minimizes wheel slip phenomenon on the track slippery. "With this launch, and dikitu with several other models in the UK on the 27th of January, we think this is a good beginning of the year in 2011 for Kawasaki dealer and rider products,"continued Michael.

When compared with previous generations, ZX-10R has a lighter weight with a total of only 197 kg, and more power. This latest product uses the engine capacity of 988cc, 16 valve, DOHC, water cooled, four-cylinder. The machine is able to generate power to 197 hp or 207 with additional modifications. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2011 will be sold at a price of EUR 18.600 or approximately USD 167 million and USD 20.200 or approximately USD 181 million for models equipped with ABS.
