Citroen DS3 Racing (2011)

Citroën DS3 Racing is a special edition with a 100% sporting pedigree.The exclusive Citroën DS3 Racing will be limited to just 1000 production units.With integrated carbon-trimmed components and specialist motorsports equipment, Citroën DS3 Racing's tuned and turbo-charged 1.6-litre THP 150 engine develops 200hp - a power increase of almost 30% over the standard unit - with a torque increase of 15% from 240Nm to 275Nm.The Citroën DS3  front wheels get 4-piston racing callipers and special disc-brakes - with drilled discs at the rear.The new Citroën DS3 Racing edition inherits Citroën Racing's expertise in motorsport design to provide advanced technological and stylistic sporting prowess.Based on the existing DSport powered by the THP 150, production Citroën DS3 Racing editions will be finished in a special workshop and fitted with a parts kit developed according to Citroën Racing specifications.

BMW M3 Coupe

The new BMW M3 Coupe comes for the first time with an eight-cylinder power unit. And the specifications of this all-new high-performance engine clearly.The new BMW M3 Coupe GmbH gained in a long history of racing success: Displacing 3,999 cc, the new V8 develops maximum output of 414 bhp, together with peak torque of 295 lb-ft at 3, 900 rpm. Perhaps an even more outstanding fact is that some 85 per cent of the engine's peak torque remains available throughout the enormous speed range of 6, 500 rpm.The  new BMW M3 Coupe is eight-cylinder nevertheless owes its most striking and distinctive forte to the high-speed engine concept so typical of BMW M: Revving all the way to 8,400 rpm.

AC Schnitzer ACS3 3Series E90

With the new E90, BMW has introduced the next epoch in the successful 3-series . True to the motto "The driving force", the 3-series sets the standards for driving pleasure in a new dimension. To quote the worldwide motoring press in countless road tests in the run-up to the official launch, a simple formula defines the 3-series:
Comfort + High Quality Engineering + Sports Performance = E90

So the 3-series offers a superb basis for creating an AC Schnitzer ACS3 from an already excellent BMW.

It is precisely this challenge which currently faces our engineers and designers. They are working at full speed to develop a range which on completion will leave nothing to be desired .

The first challenge is to develop a performance upgrade for the 2.0d . This will comprise a special Control Unit Program and take the power of the M47D20 TU standard engine to around 147 kW / 200 HP .

For all engine variants - with or without performance upgrade - we are developing a sports rear silencer made from stainless steel which will improve the exhaust gas flow . The "chromed" finish comes from the Racing tailpipe , which will not only be part of the silencer but is also available already for purely visual enhancement as a chromed tailpipe trim.


To further improve the driving dynamics in the 3-series, our engineers are currently working on a wealth of sports suspension components . The first step, already successfully completed, was the implementation of a spring kit which lowers the vehicle by around 25 - 30 mm .
In the next stage, the specifications for the suspension engineers include a complete sports suspension and antiroll bar kit with racing strut brace for the front. The complete modification will perceptibly improve the driving behaviour of the new 3-series for more sports performance with no significant loss of comfort, and also substantially increase safety reserves on sudden load changes.

Type II and Type III alloys and racing rims are already available. Wheel/tyre combinations are possible in various sizes from 17" to maximum 19", with 225/35 R 19 on the front and 255/30 R 19 on the rear or optionally 235/35 R 19 all round .

The avant-garde Type IV alloy with its optional chrome elements constitutes a true highlight in the wheels sector and is already available . In 18" or 19" , it safely connects the 3-series to the asphalt at all times and transfers the power to the road in the optimum manner.
In addition, the latest AC Schnitzer Type IV wheels with their ultramodern look appear custom-made for the latest 3-series. The maximum tyre size is the same as for Type II and Type III wheels. We recommend high performance tyres from Continental and Michelin .

The appearance of the new 3-series is enhanced by the striking contours of the aerodynamic conversion. Depending on personal taste, the customer has a choice between the sports style variant and the Chromeline Design (for the side skirts). Both versions are striking with their modern design , which emphasises externally the high performance internal engineering. In the sports variant, the side skirts are painted completely in body colour. In the Chromeline variant, additional chromed elements are used.
The BMW E90 is given a quite unique expression thanks to the front spoiler in the new design. This makes the 3-series look even lower and at the same time improves downforce on the front axle.
Aerodynamic balance is provided by the rear roof spoiler, the one-piece rear spoiler and the rear skirt with its striking underfloor wing profile .
The AC Schnitzer aerodynamic range is completed by the sports mirrors.
For the interior, a carbon interior trim in "Exclusive" silver is available with matching sports airbag steering wheels . Already we have a range of aluminium accessories such as e.g. gearknobs, handbrake handle, pedals, footrests and a cover for the BMW "i-Drive System". Velours footmats complete the range

AC Schnitzer 3Series E46 M3 Sport

Professional tuning is very much in demand, especially by drivers of high performance cars. So AC Schnitzer has developed an expanded special accessory range for the BMW M3 which further optimises the already excellent performance of the standard model. Especially effective is the AC Schnitzer rear differential, which perceptibly improves the agility of the BMW M3. The modified gear ratio of 3.91 : 1 gives far more sporting gear changes and the 6th gear becomes a "true power stage" allowing the driver to reach top speed earlier than in the standard vehicle. Another highlight is the new AC Schnitzer Racing Interior Conversion. This consists of extremely light, high strength racing seats with suede upholstery and embroidered AC Schnitzer logo in conjunction with a 4-point harness system. The conversion is completed by the new AC Schnitzer roll bar ensuring optimum body rigidity and hence constituting a real extra safety reserve. All components can be fitted individually, retaining the standard 3-point safety belt system. In addition, as usual we have placed the emphasis on specially developed suspension components, making these the heart of our special tuning range. Depending on personal preference, M3 owners can choose between a sports comfort setting in the AC Schnitzer sports suspension or a racing suspension with adjustable set-up and ride height. The special setting of the AC Schnitzer racing suspension gives the customer the opportunity to experience pure driving pleasure while retaining suitability for everyday use. The sports suspension lowers the BMW M3 approx. 25 mm and the racing suspension reaches a lowering by approximately 30 - 35 mm. Another suspension highlight is the aluminium racing strut brace which makes the M3 more stable and hence gives optimum torsional rigidity in the vehicle front. The range is completed by the removable rear aluminium strut brace and the antiroll bar set. An extended wheel range consisting of the brand new AC Schnitzer Type IV racing wheels in 20" size as well as Type II and Type III light alloy and racing wheels in 18" or 19" diameter is also available. The driving qualities of the BMW M3 - excellent even as standard - are furhter enhanced by the AC Schnitzer light alloy and racing wheels. The maximum wheel/tyre size on the front is 8,0J x 20" offset 42 with tyres 245/30 R 20 and on the rear 10.0 J x 20" offset 33 with 285/25 R 20. AC Schnitzer recommends high performance tyres by Continental and Michelin. Faster and more precise gear changes increase the adrenaline surge and also improve acceleration in a car. So with the AC Schnitzer Short Shift (for vehicles with manual transmission), we can offer that genuine touring-car feel. Optimum driving behaviour, good acceleration and the right sound are undoubtedly some of the most important attributes of a thoroughbred sports car. For this reason, the AC Schnitzer engineers have developed a sports rear silencer of V2A special steel with two chromed racing tailpipe trims which gives the M3 an even more striking sound, and further improves exhaust gas flow and hence response behaviour. Perfect balance and an individual appearance were the key specifications for the designers. The result is an optimised aerodynamics package which offers the customer various conversion stages available individually or in combination. The basic component is a carbon-fibre front spoiler available in either silver or black, which is supplemented in the conversion stage with front flippers. Anodised aluminium braces ensure extra stability. At the rear, a rear roof spoiler and a multipiece racing wing are fitted. The striking optical reference to touring car origins lies in the complex design in conjunction with the aluminium feet. The overall aesthetic appearance is impressively completed by the AC Schnitzer rear diffuser with carbon-fibre wing profile which harmoniously integrates the AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer. The racing rear wing and diffuser are both available in either silver or black carbon fibre. As well as the external accessories, an extensive interior range is also available to give the driver the strongest indication of sitting in a thoroughbred sports car. Only the highest quality materials are used which have their "origins" in motorsport. AC Schnitzer carbon-fibre interior trims and an AC Schnitzer 3-spoke sports airbag steering wheel in black and silver are also available, together with products which give a motorsport-oriented ambience in the cockpit such as foot rests, pedals and handbrake handle and also the gear knob made from aluminium, and velours foot mats. Finally, AC Schnitzer offers tailor-made solutions in the field of traffic telematics and Car Infotainment which can be integrated optimally.
