Apple does treat India as a dumping ground and while the freshly brewed iPad2 will be available for shipping starting March 11th (worldwide, though not in India) , Apple has dropped the price of iPad in India.
The starting price of the device (16GB) is Rs. 24,500 and overall there is a reduction of Rs. 3,000/ across all the device version.
