This month for Web Wednesday, the speaker is Paul Ayres, the Chief Revenue Officer of MyCube and he will share some thoughts on the future of social networking. Paul has worked in the technology sector for the past twenty years, specialising in internet and digital business start-up operations. His background is in sales, marketing, strategy and business development. Paul was the pre- IPO founding executive in Europe at both Netscape Communications and RealNetworks the first internet infrastructure and streaming media companies on the web. He was a founder of MusicUnsigned, the internet’s first talent management and UGC venture which listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2002. He founded and sold DarkNoise Technologies, a digital rights management company, to a NASDAQ listed conglomerate; managed the trade sale of Textic a text to speech software house to a publicly traded technology conglomerate, and has been variously, advisor and executive in a number of successful digital businesses. Most recently, Paul managed an early stage technology investment fund in London.
