ART OF FEELING GOOD

Day in and out, our lives are litany of things to do and expectations to meet. When were not finishing a report, were rushing to a meeting. When were busy fixing our household and take care of our children if we are a housewife. Work work work! That is so stressful! And stress can cause many bad conditions such as; migraines, high blood pressure, insomnia, hypertension, loss appetite. Poor eating habit and sleeping habits can also weaken our immune system. If we ignore our body, our body fights back- through our emotions. Stress can also lead to mood swings, over-sensitivity and irritability. True, right?
Most of the time, we used to long hours (overtime) and non- existent weekends to our job. Our tight schedule made it impossible to date, spend with family and friends, or even catch a movie. Sometimes we forget the most special day of our love ones. And most of all, we couldn’t remember when is the last time we got laid!
Yeah, we get tried to get satisfaction from our work, but resented having to sacrifice so much of our free time. Unfortunately, most of us cant afford to quit our jobs. But that doesn’t mean that we have to condemn ourselves to a life of stress. As said by, we can “borrow our bliss” make room for quite, relaxing rituals where we can release our worries and replenish our reserves. We lavish as we want, take time to exercise enroll in aerobics, yoga or boxing. Get a manicure or splurge on a full body massage. Go to beaches and picnic with family. Go shopping. Make time for yourself - make you feel good is very important. In the end, it isn’t what we decide to do- it finally believes that we have a right to those pleasures. Taking time off is a may to reward ourselves, not just for what we have accomplished, but for being perfectly lovable just the way we are. We don’t have to be perfect to be happy.
