Paul, the octopus with 100% record of being correct in FIFA World Cup 2010 predictions , chooses Spain over Germany in the semis. Paul has become a celebrity having correctly predicted a series of German wins but this time a ' no no ' for them.
Paul was given the choice of picking food from two different plastic containers one with a Spanish flag and one with a German flag.
The container which Paul opens first is seen as the winning team. He opened the box the Spain flag after a little hesitation.
